I passed by my local McDonald’s the other day and was surprised to see many multi-color display advertisements for fresh baked goods offered throughout the day.
As a reformed coffee addict/connoisseur, I noticed that McDonald’s started offering specialty coffee all-day a few years ago. Now, they’ve added baked goods. With the way this trend is going, you are going to be able to pick up any popular consumer food at McDonald’s. Is sushi next? I’m not sure the public will go for that.
Just when you thought differentiation was the key.
